species concept thing

I've thought something like that they're creatures that inhabit mainly on the forest, they're covered with some special type of fur from which grows a special kind of flowers, these flowers glow in the dark and when these are fully grown these fall from the fur and becomes in butterflies, like the one shown in the second pic

They are the offspring from an ancient forest spirit whose main ability is the life creation, and due to this, these guys also posses the ability of creating life, but more specifically flowers and other type of plants and revitalize the ground for new life to grow from it...only the flowers that grown from them becomes butterflies and these butterflies are some sort of little spirits that are charged with life energy therefore these can help them to spread life
