The phrase " the poisoned blood " is metaphorical, that is means, that it's poisonous that her life is filled with tortures and sufferings.
Also she has red eyes because is an albino. She does not have pigmentation of a skin, and even her claws actually colorless. Color of the blonde from above by analogy to laboratory rats - they are albinos, but thus have pale-color marks on a body.
