Ive always picked the fire types! Sometimes I replay a game and pick a different starter but my first play through I always pick a fire type!!!

My first time playing Blue, I went with Squirtle, being a water spaz. But over time, I think I've grown to like Bulbasaur more :3 Though Venusaur is so bleh. :\

I usually choose Charmander....I hatched a shiny one in Pokemon Y. ;v; I love all of the first and second gen starters though. Usually I have a soft spot for grass types. <3 My bby Chikorita.

I usually end up selecting Charmander, because a flying dragon/lizard that breathes fire is badass, and it can learn Fly from yellow-version forward. but I sometimes pick Bulbasaur because Poison is my favourite Pokemon type, period. to be fair, though, Blastoise is the most powerful of the 3 starters' fully evolved forms, and a good well-ounded choice (able to single-handedly take on the first gym leader, and a very good staller in the second gym). also, my mom's favourite animal is a Turtle, so I know she'd choose Squirtle every time. XD

if I could get around this question, though, I'd choose Eevee, like Blue does in Yellow Version. >w>

Charmander all day and all night, (love charizard too) I know it puts me at a disadvantage from the getgo but charizard is awesome!
