Just randomly spoke into the mic with a somewhat erratic voice, I rather enjoy this character already :D

I think he is doing lewd things though.

For reference, here is an example of the voice I did before it went through editing. https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u.....h_original.mp3
I then use CoolEdit (a very old program) to lower the pitch by 133% and add a bit of reverb to it.

The voice kind of reminds me of the Wraith from Stargate: Atlantis.

Sounds pretty good :) The accent is not a problem, may even add a bit to the character. I seem to hear clicks in the background, is that your mouse?
Something interesting I have noticed, when pitching down a voice, the result can actually sounds more interesting when you speak in a slightly higher but scratchier voice. It doesn't work for every character, but its worth a try.

Oh and FYI, my current setup is a Large Membrane Condenser USB Mic
http://www.thomann.de/de/the_tbone_sc450_usb.htm

it has a sound processor integrated, so I don't have to worry about the sound card quality.

I also use a popkiller/filter http://www.thomann.de/de/km_23956_plopkiller.htm
and a mounting arm.
