I agree. They need a Gauss rifle. Just pickpocket it off that guy at the end of the bar in that tanker ship docked in San Francisco.

Or if they wanna go old school, find a Limited Edition Red Ryder BB gun and shoot it in the eyes.

The Well BB gun, or the Red Ryder as it is called in game, does more damage than a sniper rifle with a sneak attack critical. Get a few stealth boys or a decent vantage point, and you can easily fuck up anything in the game. Its like the dart gun in fallout 3. Seems unimpressive, is actually fucking awesome.

I cleared the Deathclaw area in New Vegas with nothing but Love and Hate and all the combat drugs I could find. I was one firey junky, I tell you hwhat.

I just snuck around and shot anything I saw immediately with an Anti Materiel rifle. ... Then flipped my shit when the Alpha didn't die, and then I died.

if i went back to three or new vegas i'd probably get myself killed. in 4 i got the ram perk and x-01 armor, takes less then three rounds from a shotgun after i send'm flyin. but yeah they're screwed, sneak and crawl away. pride grows back, limbs dont.
