"That was supposed to be for a new variety of restorative healing elixir I was working on, and the elixir wouldn't have any effect without the FOY water. Your master won't be pleased when he finds out that the elixer can't be ready in time before he has to travel again, and I don't have the time to procure another flask of the enchanted liquid. And if I don't get it done, I don't get paid. Be lucky I'm not like your master, else I'd have you punished for drinking the FOY water when you weren't supposed to."
Just thought a little RP might help make a good backstory for this pic. Duskfang the mage is also experienced with the development and creation of some of the most powerful potions and elixers in addition to the vast knowledge of various spells and incantations. He's famous for his advanced skills in magic of all kinds as well as for his many discoveries concerning counterspells to different curses. Duskfang is also just a small step away from being raised to the title and rank of Arch Mage. Otherwise your master wouldn't have sought him out for a new elixer that would ultimately cure and heal all poisons and injuries while at the same time protect from further harm for the duration of the trip. ^^
