About the fractal itself: It's nice, but I feel the palette is a little too homogeneous. It could use some different colors. It's a little grainy, though, and the oversampling didn't seem to affect the aliased edges at all...
About rendering: I would recommend turning oversample to 1, using a higher resolution and a higher quality. You may not have the patience for this (few people do, I'd imagine), but I generally render my fractals for up to a day or two when I'm doing a submission, using 20000 quality at 1600x, or about 3 weeks when I'm doing a print, using 80000 quality at 4500x. If you run out of patience, just hit the stop button (but ensure that Save Unfinished Renders is checked, or else it'll cancel it instead of finishing it where it's at!), and it'll finish rendering as soon as possible. The quality won't be as high as you specified, but it should still be good.
Hope I helped :)

AH! Thank you SOO much, it actually does help a lot.
I've been trying to think of how i could submit some of my saved fractals for an art show that the recruiter for has been trying to press me to join, but i've never been able to figure out how to make the quality print worthy.
your statements have helped greatly so!
Question for you: How big are the file sizes when you do that style of rendering?
