Rad Racer II: Gum Ball Crash MIDI mix [OLD]
Whoa! I almost forgot I made this!
This was my first song cover ever, and one of a very few covers I made in MIDI back on 10/14/07!
Gum Ball Crash was my favorite tune from Rad Racer II, sure it’s no Magical Sound Shower, but I still remember it well.
Rad Racer was like the NES’s answer to Out Run on the SMS. It had a few twists, like for example, by holding down for 5 seconds before accelerating you could instantly hit 255 mph from a dead stop! Also if time ran out, instead of the game ending right there, your engine would shut off and you would coast to a stop, if you crossed a checkpoint or the finish line before you came to a complete stop, you would still get credit for it!
A classic game from Square that proved that they are more than just an RPG developer.
NOTE: You must click download to listen! The built in media player cannot handle MIDI! ^^;
Original Composer: Nobuo Uematsu

Yeah, the cheat was: at the title screen hold A and press Start. ^w^
There was also a Nighttime cheat that disabled the background. At the title screen press Bx8, hold U/R, and press Start.
The road will be totally black, so the only way you can tell which way the road bends is by paying attention to the radar arrow and the stuff off-road, not to mention your car drifting to one side.
I can’t beat the game with this cheat enabled. ^^;
