"Hear the deathly howl of The Bane !"

Here we have the first ever appearance of the Harken ancestral sword "The Bane of Wolves" first mentioned here http://www.furaffinity.net/journal/6857686/

I'm not yet going to go further into detail with the Harken's family's history, but I'll explain a bit of the sword's history:

"The Bane of Wolves, also known simply as The Bane, is not actually the House of Harken's original ancestral blade. During the medieval period of Albion (the old name of Britain), House Harken came into conflict with its arch rival, the House of Connorus. Before the late 1700's, many species tended to keep to themselves. As such House Harken and House Connorus were comprised entirely out of Bovines and Wolves respectively.

The conflict saw the triumph of House Connorus and the humiliating defeat of House Harken (majorly because of strategic and tactical mistakes and incompetence). The Harken's were only spared total annihilation if they were to surrender their ancient blade "Storm Child", which they begrudgingly accepted. After more than two decades of humiliation, the Harken's forged a new sword made of the same material as Storm Child, adamantium, and struck back with a bloody vengeance, utterly destroying House Connorus and torching their home castle to the ground. Though Storm Child was never found (the blade was supposed hidden by the Connorii to places unknown). After the destruction of their hated enemies, the Harken's named the blade "The Bane of Wolves" (named because of how many Wolves it has slain) and has since been the Harken's most treasured possession to the current day"

And as you can see, Ahriman is now the current owner of The Bane (kinda awkward in hindsight because his lover ,Jain, is a wolf, and some of his family back in Britain still hate wolves with a passion).

I aspire to become a writer one day, and I think the above story shows a bit of that potential in me ^^
