When I'd discovered the Internet (back in the late 1990s), among the first sites I'd visited were a series of webcomics with anthropomorphic characters. And among the first webcomics that caught my interest was "The Suburban Jungle" by John 'The Gneech' Robey - the life and times of 'Tiffany Tiger' (an aspiring young model).
Among her friends are 'Leonard' - a lion who runs a restaurant/bar called 'The Watering Hole' (where both predator and prey can dine, but not on each other) - and 'Wensley' - a mouse she'd befriended early on in the series. One of the rodent friends of 'Wensley' is 'Ramses' - a short-tempered mouse, with a penchant for trouble.
The following piece of fan art features my bobcat 'fursona' partaking some peanuts at the bar in 'The Watering Hole', when he gets a little disturbed by a little disturbance...
Currently, Robey is undergoing a few situations in his real life, so "The Suburban Jungle" isn't posted as frequently as usual. Nevertheless, you can check out the webcomic at this link:
