Have you ever been adrift in water too murky to see past the surface? Have you ever wondered what might lay hidden just below the dark, wavering plane? How close it might be to you? How at that very moment you are out of your element and so very vulnerable to what lies in the depths?
Have you ever wondered where that darkness comes from?
Ohhh my gosh, I've been thinking about an image like this for so long! I've been curious as to what Monster Jazz would appear like underwater, since he is still technically an otter XP, and I feel like this is a really cool representation of that! Really thick, dense goop that kind of just slowly slops off in goopy chunks before gradually dissolving into the water, creating all that murk. :3c Nowhere is safe now!
On a more serious note, I absolutely LOVE the coloring job on this! Underwater lighting is so freaking nice! And the foreground and background really set the mood I was looking for with this. All the goopy details are seriously nice as well. Absolutely fantastic job. Monster Jazz is going to get you. :3c
