Good lord, the colors and environment on this are all just so LUSH. I have an enormous soft spot for Pokemon pieces that have such an organic thing going on, and goddamn, did you do a great job especially with cobalion (whose canon design elements I adore in theory as much as I HATE the awkward boot-footed in-game model render). Gorgeous job on all that fur clumping, too. That's a very plush, soft looking legendary in the best possible way.

And I am in COMPLETE agreement about Cobalion omg. Cobalion's design is amazing in theory, but the technical way that it is drawn is just-- less than pleasing. He's one of my favorites to draw because then I can take what makes him good in theory and exaggerate it ; u ;

I do strongly prefer ferals for paintings like this though, and I also prefer natural backgrounds (I love drawing grass, rocks, plants, trees, etc)
