The proper term to use is "Seasons Greetings." Whaa? Greeting the season? This country has issues mannn. And thats how christmas died. :U In the public anyway. It's dead! DEADER THEN A DODO!
It doesn't even seem to mean anything anymore, everyones just buying shiet and being all pissed off, and bitchy. But I still celebrate it. :U
Anyways, it only kinda makes me ticked off cause, how come I have to respect and be considerate of their traditions, when most don't respect mine.
Cause if I can respect your right to wish me a happy hanukkah, or kwanzaa or anything. Then I should have the right to wish you a freaking merry christmas. D8
How about we just change it to, HAPPY MERRY EVERYBODYGETSPISSEDOFFANDBUYSCRAP DAY! :U It's the MOST wonderrrfullll timeeeee, or the YEAAARRRR!~~ (unless you go outside) : D

Whoops sorry. Was trying to figure out something to say but I've stumbled upon nothing.
I hate working retail at this time of year... It's a pain because of all the ignorant and stupid people who get mad when you don't have something in stock... Whatever happened to the Happy part of Holidays? I still love this time of year though... Don't ask me why. Maybe cause it's cold and fond memories of the past. People should just be happy, and not get so angry all the time...

I want to tack something onto the end of that. The reason some people are offended by it is because of the religious implications. We all need to get over the fact that not everyone believes the same thing. If you want to say Happy Hanukkah or Kwanzaa to me, find, have fun. But people need to realize that its not JUST a religious celebration, but rather a time to be together with friends and family. A time to be grateful for one another and show that through gifts. Its sad how this is lost on so many people and our government has no backbone to show by bending over backwards to accommodate a small group of people who have no reason to be offended.
