My family got a new cat. :) My mom found her outside a local Home Depot and brought her home. She's an all black haired cat, and her name is Luna. :) We've already had her vet checked, and aside from having needed surgery to remove an abscess in her mouth, she's healthy as can be. ^_^ The vet said that she's somewhere between 1 to 3 years old, but based on her size, we think she's two years old. Turns out she had already been spayed by a catch and release group, so we didn't need to have that done.
She's a total sweetheart. :) She's very friendly, but also easily startled by things she's not familiar with, and is a little wiggy meeting new people. She's attached herself to me, and spends a lot of her time with me. :) She also likes to lick my hands anytime she's cleaning herself. She'll seriously sit there licking my hand for like ten minutes at time (I timed it XD). :D But yeah, she's a very cute and very sweet cat. :) We're working on familiarizing her with our other cats, so for right now, she's staying in my room. Which is just as well since she likes and trusts me so much. :)
