Decided I wanted to draw and paint a C.h.u.d. bust :d
This is from one of my cult favorites c: its a horror movie of the same name, which its acronym stands for "Cannibalistic Humanoid Underground Dweller". They are humans (mostly hobos) that dwell underground and stayed a bit too close to toxic refuse that was careless dumped underground. In the end it created these guys :u heuheuheu. I tried to make the colours alot more saturated, which I think fits with the pic. c: If you have never watched dis movie, I recommend it; I may do a sketch later of some other horror monsters I like.
C.H.U.D. is property of New World Pictures and Shepard Abbot
art meh :T

I remember them being mentioned by Homer Simpsons in the episode were the whole Simpson family had to go to New York to retrieve Homer's car (one of the best Simpsons episode ever if you ask me).
At first I didn't know what was a C.H.U.D. but a quick search to Internet explained to it. In the Italian dubbing they were simply called "mutants of the swers", I guess that's because that movie didn't had a big success in Italy.
Amazing job, by the way!

I never knew they referenced the movie on the simpson show, I barely watched the show; more of a Futurama kind-of-guy xD.
Its a pretty good movie, its one of my cult classics; along with Lucio Fulci's horror movies such as Zombi 2 (also known as Zombie Flesh Eaters), City of the Living Dead, The Beyond, and The House by the Cemetery. I really love his movies, Fulci tends to have a sharp eye for practical effects and is capable of setting up a great atmosphere to go along with his films.
Thank you Gentlebull, I really appreciate it. :)

nothing wrong with any of that at all :) there are definitely some good B-movies out there and yes thats prob my favorite thing about the movie, the creature design. These creatures have fueled some of my greatest nightmares ive ever had. in regards to the second movie, i wish it wouldve just been straight horror and continued the story of the first but eh it wasnt too bad lol XD
