*grins happily.* This fantastic commission was done by the wonderful
epicwang. If you haven't checked out her artwork yet, I ask that you head on over to her page and give it a look. She does some beautiful work and is currently taking commissions.
For this picture, Rodent is running from something that seems to have made the rat rather wreckless. Taking advantage of this situation, Astrid positions herself directly in front of the unsuspecting, scurrying rodent, and opens her jaws wide.
To her delight, the unlucky rat never stops, running right in and being snapped up by those wonderous jaws. A moment later, and he's gulped down alive, giving his final wriggles in Astrid's belly, before becoming just another statistic on Astrid's menu. :)
I absolutely love the perspective here of Rodent rushing head-long into the waiting jaws, and Epicwang did an amazing job on Astrid's maw, as well as the way Rodent is scurrying while looking back. Of course, the twitching tail and wiggling belly in the final two frames are just as adorable, showing how happy Astrid is to make short work of any rodent silly enough to run across her path.
My thanks to Epicwang for doing such a great job on this commission, and once again, I ask everyone to head over to her page and let her know if you enjoy her work.

Lying on her back, the kitty's fur is so soft and warm as you pet her. You can feel the oh so strong muscles under her arm. Her flesh vibrates, and her purrs are so soothing. She flops her head over on its side to look at you and smiles, gaze full of affection. Her grey furred whiskery face is so pretty, her golden eyed gaze almost hypnotizing! And so it's with surprise you'd feel her claws pricking your side as her paw scoops under you and lifts you upwards! Before you know it, you're suspended in air between her two paws, looking down at the feline on her back below you. Purring even more madly, the cat holds you up by your middle in her two paws, staring at you, licking her lips. "Ohhhhh, you're so lovely!" she murrs, and as you make any reply you might have to make, she draws you close to her muzzle, her nose bumping your chest, deeply inhales your scent, and sighs blissfully, her warm breath washing over you. Then she sets about licking happily at your belly, her sandpaper tongue like a rough brush scraping against your skin. *purrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!*
Evidently, there's more than one way to catch a rat.

*Hugs at such a wonderful post.* I can't help but apologize for not replying to such a beautifully composed action, but I really don't enjoy attempting such detailed RPing on forums, as for me, the joy of RPing is in the spontaneity of each post. I lose interest far too quickly when it plays out slowly like this. *snugs*
*smiles and nods* Yeah, when I first saw the heart over her muzzle like that, my immediate reaction was "Dawwww... that's way too adorable. I need to feed her more rats." :)
As for my luck, if I hadn't been running, whatever was chasing him would have gotten him anyway. And just for note, the description for the commission was for Rodent to be looking back at something chasing him, perhaps an avian of some type.
So, I guess Astrid should be thanking some bird for being such a lousy hunter and letting the rat escape down her gullet. :p
