Kyuu kyuu! Well my spree of Yokai art continues with another one of my favorite Japanese creatures, the Kappa! The Kappa's a water imp, known for its love of sumo wrestling, cucumber snacks, irrigation skills, drowning people that annoy them, polite manners, and having a bowl-shaped indentation on their heads they keep water in. Lose the water, and they get weakened/killed. Of course Kappa who are traveling generally guard this water with a steel plate.

So here's my take on them, with Kihachi! I really wanted to try to blend together a turtle, a monkey, and a frog to get this little guy. And y'see that box of cucumbers? No you don't. That's Kihachi's box of cucumbers. Not for you! Kyuu kyuu!
