Beatrice Hopper is Sunnyville's nurse, the wife of Dr. Hopper and mother of their only son, Donny. In contrast to her husband, she is much fatter than he is. She acts overprotective of Donny and is always fussing over everything he does; Nurse Hopper does NOT like her son listening to rock music, playing video games or reading fantasy novels. The fact that Rusty is introducing these things to her son will lead to conflict between her and Rusty.

In spite of being a trained medical professional, she wears her emotions on her sleeve and will react impulsively to any sort of threat to her son's well-being, especially if it's exaggerated or nonexistent.
