For some reason I always depicted Donatello being the one to try to tell NiNi the true story to fairy tales. And poor NiNi would always try not to hear any of it because she prefers the happy form of the stories.

I chose the Little Mermaid in this because I really hated the real version of that the most. I first saw the Disney movie which I love to this day, but when I was a child I saw an anime version of the story and it told what REALLY happened. And I felt miserable realizing that was the real story behind it. I did find it interesting when I got the Disney's The Little Mermaid dvd that they DID think about going with the original story - that would've sucked. Ariel dying would make me sad since she's my favorite Disney Princess.

Sorry for the lack of coloring art - I'm kind of uninspired for some reason. I'll come up with something soon.
