Sandra and woo fanart contest 2015
The entry is inspired from the Jurassic World movie poster that has Owen on a bike and the raptor squad running with him. So I give you Sandra riding a bicycle through the woods with Woo and his four kits. Lily is worried about her kits of course.
I got 5th place this year, which I'm pretty proud of ^^
On to first place next year XD

Definitely first place next year. xD You've already come a very long way in an extremely short amount of time. I absolutely love the sheer style you ran with in this piece... the composition... the lighting... and the colors make it feel very warm, cute, and inviting! Which, as I understand it, is quite a contrast from what you told me inspired this piece. xD
I think this is a great example of how your art really flows from your personality, and you've been able to really make it work for you. Congrats again on 5th btw! c:

thanks a lot ^^
It came out nice, but it's not a style I will use a lot. It took so much time to get everything how I wanted it to be. The drawing was pretty fast, considering I never drew racoons before, but the painting took a hella long time. Definitely a nice experimental piece, and I learned a lot from it.

Yup! While you may have used a few different techniques, I was more talking about how you really push the cute factor in your work. xD It's almost as if you've tapped into the innocent side of your personality, and harnessed the power within.
I do think you should do more digital paintings when you get the chance. It really turned out great! ouo

Once upon a time when I used to digitally paint, it used to take me quite some time. Usually about 12-24 hours to complete. Oftentimes I worked that long all the way through, pulling all-nighters. Now I can't do that anymore. :P
But yeah, I can understand the sheer amount of time put into these pieces. Seems like so precious few appreciate what it takes to create and present an art piece they spend a grand total of 5 minutes looking at, if that.
