I decided to take a pic of just the Ranma tapes i found with the lot of anime videos yesterday. What makes it an even better deal is that some of the tapes are the slightly rarer "Subtitled" versions, as those variations were more expensive than the dub tapes at the time. A very incredible find if i do say so myself.
I know these were in the pic of the lot that i took before, but i decided to take one of just these for the heck of it.
Tapes pictured
Ranma 1/2 Subtitled Collector's Edition- Volumes 1,2,3,5
Ranma 1/2- Cat-Fu Fighting
Ranma 1/2- It's Fast Or It's Free
Ranma 1/2- Big Trouble In Nekonron, China
Ranma 1/2- Nihao My Concubine

Well these were pretty cheap, i found them while i was at a thrift store recently on a shelf full of old VHS tapes that were on clearance. All of the videos were fifty cents a piece. I got these with a bunch of of other old school anime videos for about twenty dollars all together. So i got a pretty good deal on these, probably for less than what it would cost to get these off of Ebay or some other online stores.
I remember seeing some of these very same tapes in a video store when i was about 5 or 6 years old. The price for these back then was about $25 or $30 dollars, and that was back in 1999 or 2000. Anime videos sure cost a pretty penny in those days. I also remember my dad buying me some Pokemon tapes from Hollywood Video, and them costing about $15 to $20 bucks even. Boy do i feel old!!!
