First Egg Excitement!
In late June I moved my four button quails (two males and two females - the males are both silver) to a 100cm long 'indoor rabbit cage'. Soon after the hens started laying eggs. Having never been around laying hens before, the males were super excited and dutifully made them a lovely little nest.
