The Naga Mage Warrior, Boack, from my Crimson Path fantasy story wielding the magic weapon Crimson in the form of a glaive polearm. Sometimes, I felt like of replacing the traditional old sword with a bladed/sword staff for Boack to wield instead in the story. But then again, I also thought of keeping Crimson as a magic sword and simply giving it the ability to change into a staff-like form, just to have the best of both.
