Bam-bam.
Finished Flat-Coloured Ultimate Reference Sheet of my Kestrel Angel Dragon, Sniper.
Also, way overdue! I got Sniper's fullsuit back in February, and have been fighting for a free moment to work on this since. Between training was tough, and after I finished my summer commission queue, I spearheaded this asap.
Wicked happy with how this turned out. *makes it rain* I loved designing his feral form - he's so sleek and pretty, and translating the markings between anthro and feral was easier than I had anticipated. I matched him with the general build and anatomy of Spirit, since they're the same species, after all. If anyone is wondering, Sniper is a Dutch Angel Dragon, though along with the equine and dragon anatomy, he is more raptor-like with his kestrel aspects. The differences, physiologically, between anthro and feral are pretty extreme, as you can see. All information on here is complete, but do let me know if you've any questions.
And I had TOO much fun working on his info, haha! I just went wild on that top bar and ended up filling all of it, and, like all my other characters, connecting him to Muzafr's backstory. Is it too obvious how my flight missions have been lately? Haha. I vaguely based him off of some specific Naval aircraft/mission types...
If you're wondering, YES, you MAY draw Sniper! You don't have to ask my permission, but it CANNOT be above a PG rating, and please do show me, as I'd love to favourite it and check it out!

Anywhere online. I frequently search my username on my main art sites and Google, and do the same for my characters' names and sometimes species as well, (if they're specific enough.) I also keep an eye out on Tumblr and sites where RP is common. FaceBook is also a HUGE culprit of art/character theft.
I definitely recommend getting the links to DCMA forms of all major sites, like Facebook, DeviantArt, YouTube, and Google+ so you can file a takedown. Also searching keywords for your characters, like 'kestrel angel dragon' in Sniper's case, or 'space angel dragon' for Spirit, and 'egyptian/pharaoh dragon' for Muzafr.' Nothing too damning, but some keywords someone could use if they've stolen your character and are trying to come up with a 'bio' instead of copying yours word for word so it's more difficult for you to find them.
And again, I search my username and characters' names on all major art sites and Google regularly. FB and FB groups are also good to check in on if someone 'creates a new character,' and instead has stolen and reposted your pieces. I've heard of folks using TinEye too, which is an image search engine, though it's a bit sluggish on DA/FA.

It's in a spiritual sense. His AD anscestor was very close to a DAD - he was a skilled veteran and killed nearly instantly in combat. The intense emotions caused by the event made his energy condense into an incredibly intense form, (less like a time-stuck ghost, more like a reincarnation,) and the DAD was able to utilize her own powerful energy to 'merge' their souls to hatch into another dragon. Due to the mix of species, only one being a DAD, the subsequent hatchling lacked much of the energy powers of DADs, and his lineage continued on as ADs. Though, considering that DAD energies can split even further, he may have a sibling somewhere far out there... Sniper has not learned how to utilize energy powers yet, though with Spirit's help, he's getting closer.
Amazingly impressive work as always, here. I can invariably spot your artwork just from the submissions icons as I rifle through them (sorry, just had to work it in).

DADs have an entire other backstory to the origin of the species. For my guys, Spirit and her kin evolved over millions of years in the Bubble Nebula, and Sniper a sort of mix of 'dragon history' in my headworld-to-earth, him basically having evolved from the mix of Coatls and Western dragons that were introduced to the Americas. Super long story made super short. My characters all have origin stories and never 'pop up,' as it were.
I shall reply! ^^ Though I may be a little delayed due to work, I always try to answer all Notes/Comments/etc. :D Thanks for asking, I appreciated it! I'd rather prefer not, due to major issues I've had in the past - and continue to have - dealing with design and character theft.
I also dislike stubbing my toes xD was chasing my dog one day and rammed my pinkie toe so hard into the couch that I heard a loud pop. I basically have no feeling in any of my pinkie toes now because i stub my toes 1-3 times a day but that really hurt xD
