Practicing pixel art in GameBoy style (4 colors), it may be turned into a R-type/Megaman game in the future,

though this is a very basic sample and I'm not sure on how far the project will go for now :3

Ah la GameBoy ... son dégradé de vert à peine visible selon l'exposition au soleil, son appétit déraisonnable des piles AA et son aspect tank de plastique.
Que de bon souvenirs
J'ai hâte de voir ce que tu vas faire de ces modèles.

Y'avait la GameGear qui était pas mal dans le style aussi, elle te bouffait six piles en deux heures ^^;;

Au final, dans les deux cas tu finissais avec un budget piles équivalent au budget console plus jeux.
Heureusement que c'est plus le cas aujourd'hui, merci les batteries rechargeables.

How did you get started with pixel art? I can not find any good tutorials any where that teach you ;-;

Ah well I just started by looking old games graphics and stuff, I'd say that working on small

sized sprites (like 10x10px or 20x20px) and limited colors (4-6 max) is a good exercize to start.

'till I read the desc, I thought this was already in a GB game, good work Choko
Now we just need a sheet full of appropriate sprites to go with it ^_-

Thank you very much, still working on pixel art though I felt a bit stuck with this,

so I started another pixel project, with 3D isometric view which offers more possiblities =)
