Faith's been sidelined for injury, and lets her imagination get the better of her when Pyre comes to help her pass the time.
A little YuGiOh fangirlish-ness in me made this happen XD
And YES, we did duel this out over AIM before I edited it into a story, stupid cast, stupid stack shuffling, I didn't get any of my Reinforcement of the Army, or any other trap cards or anything, gah! >>
Also, I argue with Tyr XD The Blue Eyes are female!
(And for 5D fanboys, no Speed World cards, so I couldn't make it 'official', sorry >> )
XD Enjoy at your risk

Duelists.
The Satellite city streets were empty.
The damp asphalt shined with the sun’s glimmer, illuminating every torn up angle of road, every broken window in the crumbling buildings around, and all but the sound of bird’s nestling in them now to be heard: the apocalyptic city looked like the storm had just passed, or was in it’s eye.
That’s when the roar went up, the cry of engines fighting to burst free of their chassis, being pushed further and further as two lone figures began to push beyond the hazed horizon of the road.
In seconds, the bikes tore past all the surroundings, water being sent spraying aside, birds fluttering away in panic as the two finally turned to each other, and nodded, ready!
“Duel!”
“I’ll place one monster face down, and one card face down to begin!” Called the Charizard, wings wide open and pushing himself flat against the stretched out cycle underneath him, his tail and tailcoats flapping behind his path as two silhouetted cards apparated around him, and he glanced over to his opponent.
“I’ll promise you, Pyre… this won’t be anything like last time!” The girl laughed, the albino Vulpix glancing over, goggles down and hugging against the machine underneath her, struggling to call over the revving engine in front of her!
To say the two had different tastes in their rides was one thing, but to take a look from Pyre’s articulated beast, a white Super Sport styled thing, with a front end that raked out into a plough like windshield and side barriers, enough protection to keep the Charizard from taking off the ground, and a look that said if you didn’t get out of the way, this bike would have cut you to ribbons!
Then there was Faith… settled in something that looked like it came off the Scrapheap, her casted leg held in place against the leg rest, tails and denims flailing as her chain driven beast roared down every cylinder, seemingly all rested on one large rear wheel and a side-car that appeared to be hovering above the ground, the entire thing went with a wheely action that speed alone kept from ramming into the ground!
The girl looked to the well-worn dashboard where her field was laid out, and taking a look to the cards before her, she nodded, and slapped down a card finally! “I summon the Snipe Hunter in attack mode!”
With the card placed down, the sidecar’s apparatus hummed to life, and with a glimmer of light and a rather undramatic pop, the potbellied imp in black appeared. “Raaa!” [1500 ATK/600 DEF]
Falling into place, the demon grabbed onto the sidecar, laughing maniacally as its tongue lolled and flailed into the wind, glancing back at the opposite bike eagerly.
“And I’ll activate his effect, sacrificing a card in hand-“ A monster card was surreptitiously sent to the graveyard, as a flashing light issued on her monster’s waist, “-to have him take aim at your monster!”
“Tch.” Pyre glanced from the display on his bike to the creature itself, taking up the gun from its waist, the gun’s ammo loaded, as it squinted an eye, leaning out behind Faith, and slapped the wheel on its back, spinning round and round.
“You know the drill… 6 numbers, if it lands on anything but a 1 or a 6, your card’s destroyed!”
The fiend was meticulous in his aim, and as the wheel slowed down, and slid into a safe 3, the grin split his head near in half, before suddenly a blast shot straight through the face down card, tearing it apart instantly!
“So much for Dragon Dwelling in the Cave!” Pyre grimaced, as the monster in front of him was destroyed, and Faith was pulling ahead, leaving him staring right at the back of her bike and the Snipe Hunter now taking aim at him!
“All’s clear Snipe! Go for it!”
“Raaargh!” The little demon saluted, and with another click and this time, instead of the gun, yanked off an object from its belt, tossing it into the Charizard’s path! Pyre pulled back, but that still wasn’t going to avoid the explosion that licked away at his points as he shielded his eyes!
LIFE POINTS:
PYRE – 6500
FAITH – 8000
As the dust faded, the Charizard looked at the lead Faith had gained on him, and gritting fangs, pushed forward, “Rrr… a lucky shot, I assure you.”
Faith couldn’t help bit grin back alongside her monster, throwing in her own speed as Pyre was rushing after them, “So you say! End turn there!”
With one hand holding the bike’s throttle, and the machine on auto, Pyre pulled his next card, glancing at it… appropriate enough.
“One card face down-“ Another vague silhouette appeared in his backrow, “And then I play reload!” He thust the spell forward, the image of the gun’s cartridge being exchanged as three cards in hand were shoved back into the deck, and three cards in turn were spat back out into his hand!
Faith glanced back, nothing she could do to stop him but watch as he threw out his hand for this one, waiting to see what he’d got hold of…
A monster slapped to the field, “I play Twin-Headed Behemoth in attack mode!”
The dragon hit the field, and wings flailing, rushed after its master, both ice and fire heads roaring as it struggled to keep up with them all! [1500 ATK/ 1200 DEF]
“Behemoth, attack that imp!” Pyre pointed a claw forward, his dragon loyally rushing forward to battle, lunging for the demon: the creature panicked, chattering incessantly to try and reload its gun in time, firing, just as one of the heads clamped down on it, the two shredding each other apart!
“A stalemate!” The girl yelped, throwing an arm up as the two burst into energy once more.
“One that I come out on top of, even though my turn ends, my dragon doesn’t. When Behemoth is sent to the graveyard, once per duel, I can bring it back!”
“I haven’t forgotten…” She winced, faring an eye to look back, although she was still leading, he was gaining ground, as the dragon apparated once more, one head mangled, the other looking upon her vengefully, diminished, but not done yet as it curled into defense mode! [1000 ATK/1000 DEF]
The girl took a breath, and pulled at the cards on her wrist band, “Draw!” A quick glance told her everything she needed to know… she had enough to do what she wanted… but it wasn’t time yet, this would have to do in the meantime, “I’ll play Breaker the Magical Warrior in attack mode!”
The paladin appeared in a burst of light, cape flailing with sword and shield in hand, as gravity took hold, and he dropped to the ground, with Pyre coming up fast towards him! [1600/1000]
“You know Breaker’s effect too, that sword’s got a jewel on it that can power up his attack… but I can use it instead to get rid of that card you just played!”
The monster didn’t even flinch as the Charizard got closer, only roaring defiance as the gem shattered, and his sword flashed in the mid-air, sending out a blade of energy, slicing through the card beside Pyre!
“Tsk…” He watched as Seven Tools of the Bandit vanished away, but then turned back, as Breaker loomed up…
“…That could have been nasty later…” Faith mused, before nodding to her silent warrior, “Breaker, strike his Behemoth!”
The warrior didn’t move, he just waited, standing there, until finally, as Pyre was about to run right through him he turned, twirled, and his sword flashed once more, lopping off the dragon’s remaining head, shattering it in a flash of energy that shattered and flowed over the front end of Pyre’s bike!
“Good thing it was in defense mode…” He mused himself, watching as Breaker now was quick to the air again, flying right back after the Vulpix.
“Maybe so… but now…” She glanced again to her hand, “End turn!”
Taking his time, the dragon drew, and then grinned, “I need a little bit of a break: so this should do it. Swords of Revealing Light!”
Faith grimaced, looking around as her goggles barely held back the glare, sparks of light coming to life drew together, numerous blade-shaped lights began to fall into place, and she began to fall back, unable to see her path clearly, or even the Charizard to attack him! “That’s still three turns for me to build my strategy too!”
“Maybe. Now however, I’ll play Element Dragon in attack mode, and play another card face down. Then, I end my turn.” [1500 ATK/ 1200 DEF]
Faith could barely see the outline silhouetted past the lights, a nervous glance, she’d forgotten the beasts effect… she drew, her strategy still was there, but did she dare risk it with the new card she’d drawn?
“Okay… Destiny Hero – Diamond Dude! Attack mode!”
A second caped figure appeared now, the white haired hero came into existence, taking her other side now with Breaker, his body half-encased in a brilliant blue crystal. “Hmmm!!” [1400 ATK/ 1600 DEF]
“Interesting Strategy.”
“If you know his effect, then I’ll activate, flipping the top of card of my deck… Diamond Radiance!”
The visored hero glanced up, crossing his arms as each crystal on his body began to glow, and with a brilliant light, Faith looked to her deck, the light illuminating the top card, if it was a spell-
“Brain Control!” The girl laughed, as the card went to the graveyard.
“Hmm. Shame that.”
“…A shame?” She tried to look through the wall of swords for her opponent.
The Charizard just grinned, with the Vulpix unable to see, “You’ll see.”
“…” She glanced back in her hand, “One face down card to my backrow to end!”
“Now though, I play the Masked Dragon!” Pyre cried out as he threw a second beast out beyond Faith’s sight… [1400 ATK/ 1100 DEF] “And now my Element Dragon’s effect… depending on what other monsters are on the field, it can gain an effect for their type! Since my Masked Dragon is a fire element, my Element Dragon gets powered up!”
Faith couldn’t see, but she could feel the heat, as flaming aura seemed to burst around the first dragon, raising up its attack now… [2000 ATK/ 1200 DEF]
“Element Dragon! Attack Breaker!”
Here it came… she was about to get a good view of his monsters now, as one dragon burst through the wall of light, covered in flames, the horned and spiked dragon charged straight at Breaker, who in turn tried to throw up his shield, but to no avail! The shield shattering, and the spellcaster afterward as the dragon went right through him, with a dent in her points too!

PYRE – 6500
FAITH – 7600
“Now, Masked Dragon, attack the destiny hero!”
Suddenly, the scrawny dragon, skeletal with its skull mask broke through after its companion, rushing to destroy itself and the hero together!
“Stop right there!” Faith called, waving an arm out at the silhouetted card aside her, “Trap card, open!”
“Oh?” Pyre glanced back now, just in time to see Dimensional Prison activate!
“When a monster attacks me, I can remove it from play!” A black vortex suddenly opened in front of Diamond Dude, straight in the path of the Masked Dragon, as it tried to flap away, its own momentum and the pull of the vortex sucking it inside, screaming all the way until the hole closed, and vanished the monster away.
“Alas. Then I end my turn for now.” Pyre turned back, hardly concerned.
Faith drew again, and grinned… “Hope you haven’t forgot what Diamond Dude did last turn with my Brain Control! When Diamond Dude sends a normal spell to the grave, I can activate it from there in the turn afterwards… without having to pay its activation costs!”
“Come to me, Element Dragon!” Suddenly, the echo spread from her grave, a pair of ethereal hands stretched out, as a strange signal began to make the Masked Dragon twitch and spasm, its body falling out of its control, the hands guiding it to her side of the field!
“I suppose you’re going to sacrifice it now?” Pyre gave a look of cynicism, just focusing forward, waiting.
“Not quite…” She took the card she’d drew, “I’ll activate my Mystical Space Typhoon on your swords of revealing light!” Pyre didn’t have enough time to look surprised, as suddenly, from the bike behind him, a bolt of energy burst straight through the walls of light, striking his bike, his field, and the swords card, destroying them, as the light faded away, and suddenly she was speeding up, gaining on him!
“Element Dragon will attack you directly!”
He could see her coming clearly, but there was no getting away from it, as his dragon, powered down though it was, slammed into him, sending him off balance for a second, as he gritted his teeth, shaking his head as Faith again burst ahead of him once more.
LIFE POINTS-
PYRE: 5000
FAITH: 7600
“Diamond Dude-“ The hero poised to move, “Will not!” She grinned, as she switched the card, and the hero instead folded his arms, shielding himself into defense mode instead!
The Charizard raised an eyeridge, now it was his turn to wait, as Faith seemed hardly finished yet!
“I still get to activate Diamond Dude’s ability this turn-“ The shimmer spread over the hero’s crystalline body, but this time… the girl winced, a monster card, Spirit Reaper, now sent to the bottom of her deck… “Darn… guess you can’t get lucky twice in a row…”
The Charizard only smirked, but said nothing.
“…But I still have one last use for your Element Dragon! I play Cyber Valley in attack mode!”
As she slapped down her new card, the twisting, serpentine machine appeared, only to raise a grotesque, undead face upon them lethargically, “….Rrrrehhh….” [0 ATK/ 0 DEF]
Pyre knew the card enough… it was as strange as a monster came, loaded with more effects than you could remember, he struggled to remember which effect she’d plan to use here… “Planning to sacrifice my monster to draw cards, huh?”
“Yup! By removing both Cyber Valley and one other monster on my field, I get to draw out 2 new cards!” The strange, twisting metal dragon suddenly cried out, shifting until its body curled around the struggling Element Dragon, and screeched, the two simply vanishing into white light, two little stars that appeared and flew to her deck, ejecting 2 more cards.
She looked at them, and then grinned, “Your move, Pyre!”
There was a look Charizard’s when they made a certain smile, one that often meant you weren’t about to like what they had in mind, as Pyre looked at his card, that was definitely the look that was drilling into the back of Faith’s head. “…I do hope you had fun.”
She only got to turn round in time to see him place a card face down, and then open his trap card, the card he’d set back at the beginning of the duel, “Go Level Conversion lab!”
The card depicted a massive laboratory, and there, nestled in the center of the glowing machines, was a giant glass tube, and inside, Pyre took a card in his hand, that appeared inside the illustration: an unmistakable white dragon.
“…Blue Eyes…?” Realisation and flashing horror entered Faith’s mind for a second as she looked at the beast there, and what Pyre planned on doing, “That card still depends on a dice roll!”
“You’re not the only one who can play games of chance… I select my monster in hand… and the laboratory will change its level… if you’re lucky, it lands 1, I have to get rid of him… if it lands 2, 3 or 4, I can summon it without any sacrifice… 5 or 6, I’ll need a monster to bring it out and I’m screwed… fifty-fifty… how do you feel about those odds?”
He gave her no chance to retort in time, hitting a button, activating it, as a randomizer appeared on their dashboards, and they glanced, watching as it went through…
Three.
“Oh look. It’s level is a three… looks like I got the same roll you did, so I suppose I’ll call him out! Blue Eyes, come to play!”
Faith didn’t look back, she could only brace herself, as the giant tube appeared far behind her and Pyre, and began to crack, but no matter how much speed or distance they’d pour on, it wasn’t about to get rid of the thing breaking loose, as its body began to grow, the containment tank refused to hold it any longer, and a single burst of white light showed itself, the dragon roaring to the heavens as it unfurled massive wings, screaming defiance and destruction to all as it began to rocket it’s massive form above the torn skyscrapers and buildings all around them, glaring downward on the girl and her lonely hero! [3000 ATK/ 2500 DEF]
“Blue Eyes White Dragon…” Pyre savored the moment, “White Lightning attack!”
The massive dragon didn’t respond at first, as great wingbeats made it rise up, its speed falling, as it positioned itself now, eyes gleaming, settled upon its prey, opening its mouth with a faint crackle of energy, and then, the dragon roared, bursting the energy in a stream of destruction that vaporized the hero all in a single flash, leaving the girl defenseless!
“And with that… I end my turn.” Pyre grinned, his dragon flapping down and after them once more on the chase, forever watching the girl, waiting for its next chance now.
Faith gritted her teeth, thinking for a moment, as she dared a look at the dragon: Blue Eyes was a formidable challenge to any duelist… and now, staring down the creature… “I draw!”
“I’ll activate the spell card, Foolish Burial!” She declared, throwing the spell into play.
“Not too foolish I’d wager.”
Despite herself, she grinned back at Pyre, taking the moment to let herself fall even with his speed, “There’s a power in this deck that can surpass Blue Eyes, when all my heroes come together…” She flashed a card for him to see before she sent it to her graveyard from the deck: Destiny Hero – Dasher.
She slapped a monster face down before her as Pyre watched on, “Turn end!”
Everything was almost set… as long as he didn’t play a monster!
“So you’re gambling on a one-shot monster effect, huh?”
A secretive grin filled her face, “When the pieces fir together, you’ll see exactly what I have in mind, Pyre!” She looked back on her defense… for now, that was all that stood between her and Blue Eyes, “It’s your move now, make it count!”
He took his new card… and played it: “Masked Dragon, attack!”
Faith bit down immediately as she looked at the familiar beast, as the new skeletal dragon with the ripped-back skin screeched and launched itself upon her defense, the small armored figure stood no chance.
And she was wide open.
“Blue Eyes! White Lightning!”
This time there was nothing to block the hit, she clung onto her bike for dear life, as the dragon gave only the warning sound of its blast, everything around her burst in white light, as she gritted teeth, trying to hold on against the intense heat! “Geeeeeh!”
It seemed to take an eternity to pass, but finally, it was over, as she panted, and looked ahead, she’d been propelled straight back now, and there was a good distance between her and Pyre now… but at least she was ready.
LIFE POINTS-
PYRE: 5000
FAITH: 4600
“Hmf. I see what you’re planning.” He glanced at her graveyard, “But I suppose I’ll have to end for now.”
This was it, the Vulpix was still shaking from the last attack, but she went to draw… when a trap card’s activation could be heard.
“Not so fast there!”
Faith looked in time to see the card depicting a hand losing its sword, Drop Off. “I know Dasher’s effect, while he’s in the graveyard, once per duel, if you draw a monster, you can special summon it, and I don’t feel like letting you get that effect!”
“Drop off. Discard it, do not pass go, do not special summon!”
Faith winced… and dropped the spell Destiny Draw… not a monster in any case, but still a bad loss… “Heh… just as well then…”
“No extra cards for you either.” Pyre quickly demonished.
“Still…” The girl looked to her waiting hand, and forward, to Pyre and his dragons, “I have plenty of options open!”
She waved a hand at the field, “Last turn, you destroyed my Destiny Hero – Fear Monger!” A silhouette rose aside her, the short armored figure in his power suit. “When he’s destroyed by battle, his effect activates… he’ll bring back one Destiny Hero from my grave!”
“Let’s see who you bring back then.” Pyre settled eyes forward, knowing full well what was coming.
“Destiny Hero – Dasher, to me!”
From the grave, the figure burst free, armored and slender, in an aero-formed powersuit, the figure hit the ground running on a set of roller-bladed feet, picking up speed until it pushed past Faith! [2100 ATK/ 1000 DEF]
“And he’s not alone – you’re not the only one who had a card waiting since the start of the duel!” A shimmer in her graveyard went as she revealed the card Snipe Hunter had discarded all that time ago, a hero garbed in demonic suit. “Destiny Hero – Malicious!”
“I see what you’re planning, no need to keep the running commentary?”
“Do you?” She grinned once more, removing the card from the grave, “All I have to do is remove it from the grave, and a new Malicious will be special summoned from the deck to the field!”
Now, indeed, a rush summoned the monster, the new demonic hero crouched on her sidecar, hissing at the opponent. [800 ATK/ 800 DEF]
“Dasher’s effect I wanted wasn’t to summon a monster… it has its other ability, which can power up its attack strength, by sending a monster to the grave-“ Malicious vanished to the grave, but the energy instead of dissipating, flew to Dasher, who began to power up, speeding up faster, faster!! “To give his power to Dasher, raising him by 1000 points!”
“Hah!” [3100 ATK/1000 DEF]
Pyre glanced at his dragon slowly, “Don’t despair Blue Eyes. I’m sure your brothers will back you up when the time comes.”
“Don’t think I’m done yet!”
Pyre snapped his head back just in time to see Faith remove the second Malicious from her grave now, as a third and final Malicious brother took place on the field!
“I haven’t normal summoned this turn yet… and I summon: Krebons!”
The monster Faith showed was to say, a little anti-climactic: as a small robotic jester appeared with an electronic cackle, floating in mid-air as its various body parts juggled themselves. [1200 ATK/ 400 DEF]
“Are you familiar with synchro summoning, Pyre?” She called forward.
Pyre just glared at the annoying little monster, a feeling there he wasn’t about to like this, “Not really.” He finally admitted.
“Then watch and be amazed: Krebons, Malicious, go!”
Both monsters complied, as Krebons floated up first, and Malicious leapt up from the sidecar, flying into the air…
The clown burst with a final laugh into two brilliant green stars, circling themselves rapidly until two green rings formed in mid-air. “Krebons is a special type of monster: a tuner monster that can synchronise itself with any other monsters I have!!”
“By sacrificing itself, and a number of monsters, I can summon a new monster equal to the combined monsters strength, their levels!” Malicious flew into the spiraling rings, as time seemed to slow down for the creature, it’s body fading, and six stars burst from it, being pulled together by the rings of energy, clustering and aligning themselves to form a path.
“…So it's basically a special tribute.”
“It's special alright... and so is the monster they're bringing out!” The girl looked up at the aligned stars, and nodded, settled ready with Dasher before her, “Past the horizon, through the day and night, the stars open the path to victory: shine bright, Stardust Dragon!!!”
The stars exploded into a brilliant light, and now revealed her new monster, sleek and slender, the graceful dragon appeared, stardust scattering from its wings over the field, bellowing its challenge upon Pyre and his field as it flew forward above Faith, ready for battle! [2500 ATK/ 2000 DEF]
“Hmm. A dragon. My specialty is dragons as well you know. Just a fair warning…”
She grinned, “I'll risk it! Dasher, attack Blue Eyes!”
The amped up hero was not to be forgotten, already its speed had built up enough, and now, with the word given, Dasher rushed forward, rocketing off a buckled road and up through the air, limbs together as it drove itself like a missile straight through the Blue Eyed dragon, sending an explosion of energy raining down from above!
“Stardust, attack the Masked Dragon!” Pyre wasn’t going to get by with just a glimpse of what he’d gave earlier… as suddenly her dragon looked down on his, and released a shattering sonic scream, the Masked Dragon’s skullmask breaking open, and exploding as it screamed its last moment!
LIFE POINTS-
PYRE: 3800
FAITH: 4600
Pyre grimaced, it wasn’t anything like the attack he’d gave her… but at least he had a defense… and at least, he had a plan.
“You've destroyed my Masked Dragon... but now I get to choose another monster to summon to replace it.” As the smoke cleared from the burst of the Masked Dragon, a new monster stood in its place, having seemingly appeared from inside of it, a new Element Dragon stood in place, watching them carefully. “There. He’ll help me out.” [1500/1200]
The Vulpix girl let loose a breath, relaxing now and watching around her as Dasher caught up to them, now slowing to a crawl and reverted to defense mode and she looked back, pulled ahead once more, “That’s all for now! Go for it!”
Pyre glanced at his card, “Ah, now this is luck for me. Pot of Greed!” A simple spell, as he placed it down, “It allows me two more cards!”
“Heh... you'll need something like that right now!” Faith hesitated… nervous, but excited… even after all that, Pyre didn’t seem too dazed over this… This was the part that was always tense, always exciting, what would he do now?
“Hmm. I suppose these will have to do...” He drolled off, before looking up past his flailing collar at Faith, “I think your dragon likes me more. Don’t worry, he’s still friends…”
Faith didn’t know what he meant, but she got the idea when she saw him play Snatch Steal! The spell card’s energy reached out, grappling hold of Stardust, dragging it away from her field and over to his! She wasn’t the only one who could take control of a monster! She set her jaw, and looked on… more than that, she’d just remembered Element Dragons’ effect when a wind monster like Stardust was in play…
“Guess what Faith?” Here it came… “If Element Dragon destroys an opponents monster, like your defense mode Dasher… he gets to attack AGAIN!”
“That’s true!” She grimaced, but put on a smile, waiting… as all she could rely on was the lonely Dasher, and even then-
“Like how he’ll attack now!” The dragon rushed forward, this time enforced by the sweeping winds, as invisible blades seemed to slice the hero and his armor to pieces, before whirling around on Faith, rocking the attack over her and drowning out her cry.
“Stardust Dragon, attack!”
She was rocked about, holding on once more for dear life as her eyes clenched at not just the attack, but away from the sight of her own Stardust blasting her! Her head swam and her body shook, but she still clung on there!
LIFE POINTS –
PYRE: 3800
FAITH: 600
After the attack, Pyre nodded slowly, analytically, “Sufficient. But I desire my own dragon, not a borrowed one…. So…” Suddenly, he swept the cards off his field, sacrificing them, as great light consumed the field once more, and Faith didn’t even need to look back when she heard that familiar roar, the great engine of destruction, Blue Eyes White Dragon reigned once more! [3000 ATK/ 2500 DEF]
There she looked in horror… back to her grave with Stardust, and back to the field, with the one towering above her, he’d left her with nothing on the field… she looked at her hand… and took a deep breath… Dasher was in the grave… if she drew a monster she could use…
“…” Nothing.
She took a moment to consider her options… somehow, surrendering didn’t seem her style, as she just grinned, and threw on the throttle, looking up at Pyre, and then his monster, “Nothing left I can do… so I end my turn!”
Pyre drew his card and laughed. “Too bad. This wouldn’t let me show you my deck’s full potential.”
“Oh well, Blue Eyes? End it!”
****
“Aw…” The Vulpix sighed and sat back in the bed, her casted leg propped up on its pillows as she looked at the bedside table between her and Pyre, looking at the Blue Eyes card as he was already packing up the deck, “…Thought I had you there.”
No bikes, no outrageous denim clothes or holographic projection systems, and definitely no getting out of bed!
“Almost.” Pyre thought slowly, as Faith’s pet Chimecho curiously blinked back and forth at what they were doing - “Chiiii?” - “If I hadn’t drawn that pot of greed, I’d have been in serious trouble there.”
“Heh… luck’s a big part of victory sometimes…” The Vulpix grinned a little, sighing as she held her bandaged head and looked out the window, Pike still wouldn’t be back from training with the others for another hour or so, and with her bedridden, even with the TV Jeremiah had brought in, time passed slowly having to rest up all the time.
Two weeks of bedrest, she was starting to regret calling that match with her and Rene over the accident that had put her here, but she’d been worse off than this before, just a matter of time to heal as she sighed slowly, rubbing her casted leg consciously.
“…Thanks for coming to play anyway.” She looked back to him, “I didn’t know anymon else who played around here, and it means a lot just now!”
“Heh, no problem.” The Charizard stacked his deck again, “Used to play it a lot back in the day, back before I evolved and started kicking butt like yours across the ring.”
The Vulpix girl folded arms and stuck out her tongue, “Well, we’ll see about that next time, I’ll find a way past your Substitute!”
“Heh! You’ll have to beat me in this before I’ll let you ever challenge me to a real battle again!”
“…” It only took her a second to think, as she grinned, and then suddenly scribbled both their names on her cast, with a scoreboard underneath, a point under Pyre’s name.
“Wanna go again?”
The Charizard chuckled, picking up his deck once more, “Sure.”

LIFE POINTS-
PYRE: 3800

Jowgen the spiritualist, Kycoo the Ghost Destroyer, Sealmaster Mesie, and Barrier master Mei-Ko (not sure I got the names right these are just off my head) as well as any spellcaster type monster with japanese shaman or priest basis or influence. The them is a lock down using Jowgen to block special summons, Kycoo to block grave yard manipulation, and Mesie and his coresponding seal to block traps. This combined with hidden villiage of the Spellcasters shuld make a decent lockdown! ^w^ What do you think?
Heh, glad you enjoyed the duel in particular ^^
XD Yeah, no doing that for real for her! Just worried about any diehards who'd think on me making the duel on bikes without it
Although, as shown in the story, it'd be easier for Faith to battle sitting on a bike, than having to stand up with a duel disk :o

Still, I would never imagine Duel Monsters to look like their old selves without ending up like Pokemon... unless I missed something...
Still, Faith's deck with Destiny Heroes and Synchro monsters... plus with a lot of luck... I wonder if her strongest card is either Dogma, Plasma or Destiny End Dragoon..... If so.... KEEP AWAY FROM MY RAINBOW NEOS, DRAGOON!!!
