After fighting with my wifi for 3 hours, I finally went to Starbucks to upload this. It's late because of that, but I hope because AnimationMutation and my audition made it up in time, and her OC's reference sheet did as well, that I'll still be considered for the SecondDraftOCT over on dA

World Lore according to AnimationMutation : There are three main points in this worlds history that's different from ours: Religion, Vampires and Werewolves, and Magic.
Emperor Constantine of Rome never had a dream that lead to the winning of a battle, convincing him to convert to Christianity, thus all of the Roman Empire. Instead, he kept worship of the Roman gods, Christianity never becoming what it is in our world. Some time after the fall of Rome, the Roman gods were eventually converted back to their Greek names and representation. While Europeans still traveled to conquer as much of the world as they could, they didn't flat out wipe out cultures or races, but instead integrated their teachings and adopted others. During this vast time span, religion itself became much more personal, many religious folk not even giving themselves a sect name due to the complications of their beliefs that couldn't fit into a box. Now, each person you ask has a very different answer on what they believe and who they do (or don't) worship. However, Greek myth has become a staple in most of the world.
Vampires and Werewolves exist in this world (which never existed before, even in old myths). During the 1400s a plague caused by magic began spreading world wide. Death was an absolute if contracted. Luckily a cure by magic was created before too much damage was done. There was, however, a side effect. There were two strains of the illness, depending on the strain, determined which you became. Both live much longer then humans and have stronger immune systems. Vampires 'breed' by biting a consenting party, usually the children they adopt, and don't need human blood to survive, but raw meat. The Vampire lifestyle often brings to mind a night version of suburbia. Werewolves breed like any other mammal, but their offspring are more Werewolf-ish in appearance, less so mentally and are very easy to spot, thus they're called Lycan. Werewolves must be bitten, Lycan are born. They live in large packs away from most, where any and all are welcome to join and live without having to be a Werewolf.
Magic used to be used to be practiced openly and in abundance for thousands of years. However small cults of 'Dragon Worshipers' began springing up everywhere and rapidly grew in numbers. Not much is known about these cults other then they practiced human sacrifice and let their magic lose to cause all sorts of devastation. They were driven back, their numbers cut down to a small handful. Many believe that they're still around, just in hiding. Now, witchcraft outside of worship rituals are seen as taboo, the warped paranoia over time has made most believe that any magic users to be part of this cult and are immediately imprisoned, ostracized, or flat out killed.
