I used to use GIMP, but found after I turned on the pressure sensitivity, the brushstrokes would fall behind my pen strokes, and if I went to fast, sometimes they would just freeze and create a blob of lines everywhere. GIMP's website informed me that GIMP isn't meant as a full-scale digital art work creator, but more for simple photo edits.

So today I tried a trial of Photoshop CS6 and I can't stand the program. And I won't be able to buy the program once my trial expires so getting used to it seems pointless.

I found this free software called Krita, and it's pretty good. I won't launch into a rant, but a major fault with it is the options for re-sizing images. A big pain in the ass without much rhyme or reason to it. It was a bitch, and in the end I had to give up and just go with the image dimensions I was able to get.

I like the brush options, but my hand is too unsteady (haven't used my table in a long time) to make good use of them yet.

Also, the is a little long, but it's not too terrible. This character was meant to be more blue than purple, but the saturation and value were screwing me over.
