if you wish, I could help you making one! :)
I like to keep it simple and vanilla U uU your interactive sheet is pretty cool, though!
If I have your permission, I will try to adapt your specie sheet into interactive one and I will send you it from note, hope you will like it :)
Psssst... They're possibly being made available.http://www.furaffinity.net/journal/7316639/
These look so amazing.
I love how you designed their faces!!
I might have to get one from you sometime.
like i need anymore characters hahaha-happily adds them to species wishlist-
Some questions:
What is the sexual dimorphism of this species like?
Also, do they have defined gender roles in their societies?
I'm so happy you like 'em!! * U*
Are Kimet a closed or open species?
Once I complete the species sheet, I think I may open up for some dirt cheap MYOs!
I'm not sure, this is my first time doing something like this!! * u*! I hope this is ok!!
I'm just so happy folks like 'em!! Thank you!!
At the moment, I'd like to keep them closed, simply because I don't know what to expect if I open them up! You're more than welcome to draw something similar though, I'm certainly not gonna jump down anyone's throat for producing similar/inspired designs, it's not how I roll U uU <3!!
Once I complete the species sheet though, I'm thinking I may open up for some dirt cheap MYOs! Since folks seem super interested in that!
Mostly, I just want to make sure that the species doesn't run away on me, if that makes any sense! * U* <3 I hope this is ok!!
Lights a fire under me to get the whole sheet done! * U* <33 thank you!!
I would love to get one from you or a MYO
I dunno. I already have LeeLee (so many damn birb characters)
but it's an addiction.
possibly a redesign?
I have no idea
*internal screaming*
Moar birbs!!!
I can't wait to see more of them!
I just have a question, since I'm not an expert about birds: how do the crop and keel bone work together? I always thought the bone was in front of everything, so I'm amused to see the crop expanding. I can understand (I think) on normal birds, that have longer neck, but here?
I'm not sure about other birds, but a parrot's crop is definitely located over top of everything! You can see it best in baby birds!
http://www.justcockatiels.net/uploa.....602791.jpg?565 <--this image is pointing out where the gizzard is (a different digestive organ from the crop), but the crop itself is that fat, yellowish ball with black dots in it, at the base of the throat. The yellow and black is the last meal it had, it's quite full, so it probably just ate not long before the photo was taken! This particular bird is a cockatiel, which do not have long necks. :> Hehe, having hand reared chicks myself, I'm very acquainted with parrot crops U uU <3 When they're still being hand fed, you're always palpating and inspecting the crop for yeast/bacterial infections, or keeping an eye out for stagnant food getting stuck in it.
And it's actually cockatiels specifically that I based Kimet crop structure on! They have a characteristic sag to them that other parrot species don't have. Kimet also have a kind of S curve to their necks that's hard to see under all the feathers. If they extended their neck out, it'd be quite a bit longer than ours :D I guess you could say the crop is "cradled" by the furcula.
I hope that makes sense! * U*
I might have over thought this a little bit lmaoo
So basically the crop rests on top?
Wait no...
I need one .-.
Your crisp creativity is a constant source of inspiration for me.
