One of the first things I noticed going back to WoW (hangs head in shame) was how fast people can run through dungeons these days. I was left in the dust!

If people start rushing, I stop DPSing. And they die and bitch and whine and leave the party. And I wait for someone else to come along. *shrug* I manage well enough and I enjoy it still to this day. For every bad group, there's 9 more that I love. Good enough for me.
Speedrunning is pretty normal these days, which makes slow runs all that more enjoyable in a sense. Even if the Slow runs are due to afk. Cause you end up randomly chatting with people(not that it doesn't happen in the normal runs, but you are usually much more concentrated on fighting then chatting), or taking chances picking at mobs without a healer. Ect.
I got booted from a group recently because my DPS was insufficient (bear in mind this is not endgame but vanilla stuff with a level 40ish toon) The reason my DPS was lacking was that the tank kept moving the entire time, running into another group of trash before we had finished the current group. As a melee DPS when my target won't stand still that makes it problematic.
