Woooo! I'm still tired as hell and suffering from con crud, but this year my EF was awesome all around. I managed to meet a lot more people and spend a lot more time at the artists lounge, bought some awesome art pieces for the home, sold 9 out of 10 of my own pieces at the art show... and on top of that my "Silly bunnies" painting ( http://www.furaffinity.net/view/17322575/ ) won the Art Director's Award at the art show! I'm still at a loss of words for such a honor!!
A big THANK YOU to all the great people I managed to spend time with at the con - anticarrot who got me to draw more bunnies and humorous ideas, ritka for being the sweetest cheerful red panda ever, amurtigress and balorkin and her buddies for a great sunday evening, scheriff and bluepanther for the insightful conversations, and all the other people who are just too many to list here now.
Waiting a full year before the next edition will be hard but I'm already itching to plan forward for ir. :-D

scale, you rock. it's always a pleasure to meet you. and i was able to buy the silly bunnies. strike ^.^ now it's hanging between a horst janssen and a penck, but man, your pic is more wonderful and a real eye catcher. i think i need more oil paintings, especially from you. :)

Oooh that's some important company for the bunnies! Thank you again. I'll be pleased to meet you again either at next EF of should I travel in your area, we'd probably find lots of interesting topics to discuss. And I hope I'll have even better paintings to show by then. :-D
You mean blue as in blue roan or blue as in "OMG it's an ultramarine horse"? After the Italian furry convention (next week) I plan on making at least one small painting each week in parallel with commissions, since I've seen during preparations from the Eurofurence art show that I'm quick enough for that. So I might pick up the idea anyway.
Oh I see! I know well his works too. It's too bad he died young, with so few modernists trying to apply their ideas to animals and nature it was a huge loss that possibly destroyed a whole branch of artistic research. I'll consider the idea for sure. In fact one of the things I need to practice are anthros with unnatural colors...
