trauron FINALLY DONE!
Took me a while, but he's been very patient and such a good sport about it and I'm glad to see the project finally done.
I used a bunch of new techniques and tools that I didn't know how to use before, so making this was definitely quite the interesting and fun task.
Here's him and his buddy
charkonian enjoying one of the pleasures of being a Charizard.
Self lumination! \o/

Dude, thank you. The effort put into this really shows, especially through the warmth of our expressions; personally, that's the greatest touch to me.
I appreciate this deeply. It was through your hard work that me and Tra share a friendship stronger than we had before.
And for that, I'm eternally grateful.

Ah, now that I can see more than 1/8th on my screen all at once(yes it was really hard to view like that)~
I think you did a good job on the lighting especially the dual points of it, the tail's is the most noticeable which certainly seems right to me. It's a very snuggly picture and I'm always envious how well you make poses like this go together so well. The only thing I really wonder about is trauron's ear/horn/earing as the shading doesn't seem as complete on these. The gems they are wearing are beautifully defined though.

^-^ Thank you. I think I'm getting better at including multiple ways of shading and adding light and effects. Where as at first I only had the glow of the fire, but after that I added the lighter color of the skins to add a bit more of a contrast.
You know, now that I look at it, I know I had the shading down on the earring, but for some reason I guess I may have deleted that layer on accident. But honestly, maybe it's just me, but that might be for the better.
I'm happy with the gems, thank you for noticing!
I put a bit of detail into them and even though pointing it out is, well, pointless, if they weren't there, I realized they'd be rather bland.

Once again, graphic design habit :p
It was just 'border-move on, border-move on' in that class, though I have taken thought in adding deco here and there. It's a work in progress with how much I'll remember.
Hell, I've graduated from the negative space around characters and I'm starting to get a little more interactive with the backgrounds, so other deco shouldn't be too far behind. (though negative space isn't always bad)
Thanks for the input! =)
