Not my usual subject, but perhaps a welcome change from chrome close-ups.

These things are popping up all around my neighborhood. It was just a matter of time before I found some in my yard. The weather seems perfect for them. When I took the photo this evening, the larger one in back was about the size of a baseball.

I'll probably move this to scraps sometime down the road.
