I'm not much of a jeweler nor really did much with jewelry making even as a kid. Sooo yeah, this was completely out of the norm for me LoL

A beautiful piece of Baltic amber with a real flower fly suspended in it naturally, perfectly preserved for 50 million years. I love dinosaurs and have since I was a tiny child. And of course, I love Jurassic Park (Don't wanna hear how much you hate the movies honestly, I just love em *shrug* especially the first)

Taught myself how to wire wrap and made this in about 20 minutes, going to wear it <3 it's wrapped with pure silver. It will not tarnish, will not fade...most importantly, will not cause my skin to change color or induce an allergic reaction that sterling silver is prone to doing. It matches my pure silver bear torc that I wear at the same time (also custom made by a jeweler friend, one of a kind)
