Yet another old picture I found when I was looking through that usb. I'm glad I had managed to keep some characters from Tales of Daisha. Poor Starbound Galaxy lost EVERYTHING :C
Oh well, I've been meaning to build more stories for ToD anyways. This haggard old Gnoll(because Gnolls are a race in ToD) is Xylia. She plays a big role in ToD because she's the champion of Moriko the beast goddess. She may be old, but she can kick your ass.
The type of hyena I was basing her off is an aardwolf. So Xylia is pretty short for female Gnoll standards(yes, I'm basing Gnolls mostly on how hyenas are). She lives in a temple where she teaches the way of the the beast goddess and her fighting style(which I'm not sure what it is yet. I'll get back to anyone with that question). Before she dies she wants to find the next disciple that's worthy enough to become the beast goddess' champion. Until then, she's hanging in there. Seriously, after a hundred years she's not really going anywhere.
I think I've explained what a Champion was before, but to anyone that's curious a Champion is a mortal that have proven themselves to a god or goddess and deemed worthy to represent them in the mortal realm.
So yeah. Xylia is also heavily based on every ancient kung-fu master in a video game ever. Specifically the ones that're crippling old but then for some odd reason they can whoop ass. It's a funny concept, but I love it.
