The I&W/Seeger song was very nice too.... I didn't know of it. that's our plight...
There are two books on the subject of coyotes that any fur , animal lover or artist should at least browse... if you haven't read them, seek them out- O, you won't be disappointed. Both are wonderful reads!
J.Frank Dobie; The Voice of the Coyote 1949
Francois Leydet; The Coyote - Defiant Songdog of the West 1977
And then there's the Disney Coyote's Lament: a cartoon, to be sure, but close to the point.
But I'd still love one of your pic's. How could I commish one???

I actually always thought "Coyote, Little Brother" was a terribly annoying song until I watched I&W and Ben do that beautiful cover live last month.
I'd be happy to do a commission for you, if you note me with what you're looking for I can put together some price options for you =D

Hi, I won this piece at the Anthrocon charity auction this year! I had no idea it was 7+ years old. What is the history? Have you held on to it this whole time or did someone else purchase it yeqrs ago and then donate it to the auction? Just curious, because have admired your work for a long time so it was cool to see it at the auction
I didn’t realize it was that old either!
It was hanging on my wall for most of that time because I was really happy with it and didn’t want to sell the original. Over time though, I had to admit it was time to make way for new art and I had to sell off some of my old stuff.
