The sketch of this digital painting has been in my sketchbook for a year or more, and I wanted to eventually do a full-size acrylic or watercolour piece... but that never happened! The other night I was going through my old books and it reappeared. I decided to scan and paint it with my crappy tablet.

Meerclar Allmother's Eye is the moon in the cat mythos Williams created for his book, which is why her eye is the central point of the picture. I tried to make it look as moon-like as possible with my minimal Photoshop skills. The light of her eye glows in her fur, hence the harsh highlights.

There isn't enough fanart of this book, and I intend to do more!
