Concept art for "Saints of Horses" a Twine game I'm working which is kind of a sci-fi/fantasy story about human colonies interacting with a culture of sapient alien "Horses". It's basically MLP collides with Dune after picking up H.P. Lovecraft somewhere along the way.

The trickiest thing was trying to create a plausible alien design that was quadruped, but had opposable thumbs, cus I found hooves a bit too limiting. Most people I've talked to found the result creepy, which isn't necessarily a bad thing in this context, as this whole universe has kind of an uncanny quality to it

EDIT: Because of Furaffinity's new layout, thumbnails are larger or smaller based on their width. This means that tall pictures are squeezed to the side and left forgotten while wide pictures hog all the space. A wide thumbnail can be as big as five tall submissions and this opens up a lot of oppertunity for abuse. If you can, let Furaffinity know this is a problem, that prolly won't change anything but one can always hope.
