Rumors are circulating around that there could be a official American Dvd release for 1984 for America.

But I think it's still False

I already have the Japanese version.

I do too, think it was both. I'm just fine with the American version on vhs and the original on dvd

Mine is a 2 disc with the making of the movie. I also have the US version on a separate dvd.

G-fest. Someone was selling it. The Japanese version I got at a kaiju store selling the stuff you'd see at G-fest. Monster Island Toys. They have all the kaiju and tokusatsu in their original versions on Region 1 dvd.

Also LOVE Monster Island Toys, that site and store is great. Went to the store back in april, great place and the owner really nice guy. Too bad he had to shut down his store, but he remains online

Via him, I got the entire Heisei series on dvd. :)

Yeah he told me that he had a large store, but had to close down. Not enough money to keep it going, and next he got a smaller front. But didn't make enough to keep it, plus with Chicago's taxes or something like that.

Also Via him, I got Gorath, Space Amoeba. The other rare dvds were from other sites

I've not seen Gorath,but want to. I also want to get Gunhead.

Yes it is now and only a online store.

Gorath is good, just watch the Japanese version, better then the American version. In the American version they cut out Maguma.

Gunhed oh boy that goes way back! Good film just bad acting and pacing. But still get it!
