It's somewhat discouraging when you don't receive a single comment (or favorite), it sort of gives off the feeling that no one's really paying attention. At least with a bad or constructive comment, someone's seen it and I can probably fix things with any advice they actually provide.

I like constructive critique, and I encourage others to provide other artists with it.

a: I like to do fanart. Lets me practice my techniques on hapless, familiar characters before butchering my own.
b & c: I never was one for everybody being happy. Perhaps it was the way I was brought up, but I have certainly taken an interest to conflict and pretty things being ugly. ... The reverse is also true.
