so along Midnight's travels he comes across a young and beautiful Pegasus called Summer Tan, who agrees to help him learn to fly. She happily agreed to do so even if the reasons were a little far fetched. However during their time together Summer found Midnight's naive nature and gentle demeanour somewhat sweet. And just before they parted ways after some flight training Summer Tan gave him a gentle peek on the kiss. Though Midnight wasn't really expecting this
