This was a little thing that happened while I was working on Miga, that came out of the extra paint left over. Compared to the big painting that took 20 or 30 or 4000 hours, this came out in one day in barely three hours. It's a self-portrait, very victorious airs about, while I'm leaping out of the ocean, as if launching myself and sea spray out of the water into the air. And don't tell anyone, but this little thing fights Miga for top spot in personal, rewarding enjoyment.
Please believe me, the original looks amazing and not horrible like this photo. The colors and fine details have all been annihilated here and someday soon I'll upload a better photo.

It gives it a clean effect-- the white of paint isn't as bright as the sheer white of the canvas, so when you want an absolute white or the 'invisiblity' of air, leave it bare I guess :> Also, the edges of this are another detail you can't see here, some are unfinished, and some are deep blue, framing the canvas nicely I think :>
