Welcome to Kanto! Route 27 - Pokémon G/S/C Trance Remix
Quick remix I did today. Same scenario as last time really; I heard the song and was like... Yeah, I wanna do this one ;D
I don't really have anything to say about this one... Usually I try and talk a little here about things to do with the track, but in this case I don't have anything particular to say.
So I EV trained an Espeon today. It's my favourite Pokemon, even though most people assume that it would be a dragon type. But the dragons in Pokemon just look too derpy! Except for maybe Goodra, she's so cute and is my totes my bae.
So yeah, while I was remixing this track I was running backwards and forwards in the Pokemon Tower, killing 252 of them for Special Attack EV points. Then I moved onto Pallet town and killed a similar amount in pidgeys and rattatas for speed EV's. Then I put the last 6 into HP; not ideal for an Espeon, but that's where my IV's lay, so I thought I might as well.
Uhm.

OH BTW I has a soundcloud now, I would be so happy if you followed me there and of course you will have the option of downloading all my remixes. Which will be good if like, you want to hear them when you're like, not at a computer or something. Yeah you're right, generation 2 was my favourite. :3
As a child that game like completely blew my mind. I'd love to know how many hours I spent on it, but it was probably more than ANY game I've played since.
Gen 3 was a lot of fun too. I remember being so excited about that and getting it literally the day it came out. The problem with gen 3 was that gen 2 set the bar incredibly high, and I kinda rushed through the game expecting to be able to hop on a ferry at the end and go to Johto or Kanto.
I was very very very disappoint.

I was pretty let down too when they didn't let you go back to Kanto or Johto after the Elite Four. And I remember it took me like all of one week to beat Ruby, which was pretty ridiculous for me back then. Part of why I like that gen so much is because I was having some rough times back then, and that game kept me cheerful. Then I found the tower where Rayquaza was and the hidden cave that lets you start hunting the -gigas Pokemon, and felt just a little bit like in Gen 2 when you got to go to Kanto. No one ever told me about them, so finding stuff just hidden like that felt so amazing. I was freaking out when I found that cave, since we had just learned about Braille in school the previous week, so I was all like "Holy cow, I recognize this! I have a sheet of paper in my backpack that can translate this!"
Exactly this.
As a child I never knew what 'Kanto' was, so I remember being super confused when you first enter this area and that guy is like 'Congratulations, you have taken your first steps into Kanto!'. \o/
But gods, I was about to find out. :P

That's how I was with Kanto back then! I had trouble with the elite four for some reason back then but that's probably becuase I had a level 50/60 something feraligatr with hm moves and nothing else.
It was one of my most memorable moments with crystal though!
