Something to do with the idea of a story becoming more well known then it's author. By the looks of this I think someone who didn't know any better would think that the one wearing the mask is the creator, but really it is the creation. I think popular media can be like that sometimes. The story gets so loud you can no longer hear what the person who first told it has to say.

Perhaps I am too tired to think straight, sleep has been hard to achieve in these last few months.
