This was an underexposed shot I quickly snapped before Eta Carinae (that slightly pinkish blob you see closer to the horizon--technically above solar panels haha) set below the view. The blackish spot isolated in the middle of the image is the Coal Sack, and right under it is the Southern Cross. The Small Magellanic cloud is visible here, and if you look closely, you can see the Large Magellanic Cloud just peeping over the distant mountains.
