The door behind Melissa opened with a sliding woosh. She saw another kid like her being escorted into the room. He was wearing the same clothes as she was. So he must have signed up for this like she did.
"Wait in here kid" the man said leaving the boy with her. He was really tall his pale face looking around the solid white room and then locked onto Melissa.
"Hello!" The blonde boy said walking up to her.
"Wow you're really Tall!" was all Melissa could blurt out. The boy grinned from ear to ear and began to flex and pose.
"Yeah I know I'm also the strongest!" He boasted sticking his tongue out and razzberrying. Melissa laughed, she hadn't laughed in what felt like forever to her.
"Haha you're really funny." She pointed out. The boy suddenly stopped flexing and reached out his right hand.
"I'm Grant!" he said the big smile still painting his face. *What a weirdo.* She thought. But she shook his hand anyways.
"Hello my name is Melissa"
The first person Melissa truly met when arriving on Onyx was none other then Grant(SPARTAN-C082). Even after losing his home he continued to be a clown of a kid while training. He and Melissa became best friends during their years of training at Camp Curahee. Just so happens they ended up being placed into Fire Team QUIVER soon after.
Another quick drawing I did, I'm building up more of my Fire Team. The next few months will be more development for the team so be prepared!
Also side note, Grant has always been abnormally tall even before augmentations. Here in this scene Melissa is 7 years old and Grant is only 5 years old and yet he is several inches taller then her.
