This is a scene from chapter 15 just after Whisper (wolf above) defeated 2nd seat Elitist Raeza and is about to fight the dragon terrorising Veiled. She sustained quite a lot of damage from Raeza, but her will and Spirit will give her the power to defend the villagers and her friends.
For those that don't watch me, this is Whisper, A Lightningwolf from my Elemental Chronicles story here in my gallery.
This took me about 7 hours on a Wacom tablet. I learned a lot from a DragonArt book by Neondragon I purchased recently, what information I retained I attempted in this digital drawing. I have to say I am more confident with backgrounds. shading and special effects now - I highly recommend her books!
