Terry Practchett recently died, and Goomi in his Unspeakable Vault strip had Death take him to and beyond Discworld to a party hosted by his hideous and anatomically insane creations. Some were Mythos wannabees.
Since I haven't read his books * I did not understand some of the allusions in that tribute strip by Goomi.
* I felt burned by too many fantasy books I read and too much of the fan-fiction of the Mythos, so I moved to other fields.
