Akkadian never sold things for wealth. Always for other objects of greater sale value, or for favors, his most precious and preferred commodity commodity. The more he traded you, the bigger the favor he could demand.
Akkadian first appeared way back in 2004 (maybe 2003?) when I ran a roleplay session with a variety of folks on the really ancient Furcadia. He was big bad then, and made a bid for godhood. He was stopped by Wyldsyde, Kefkah, Mika, and others.

I admit, knowing that, I always figured that Akkadian would find me the hardest person to sell to. I don't do favors, I don't do debts. I pay and settle here and now. And even if he was one to give you what you truly desired, he would NOT be able to grant what I want. No matter how strong he is.
