I believe the "Pull-up compatible" notation of which you speak is referred as "Size ?T" - T for Toddler.
Such clothes are extra loose/baggy in the butt & crotch area to comfortably fit poofy garments underneath more easily, and often include snaps for easy changes X3 IRL though, such clothes rarely up go much more then Size 5T

No problem, happy to be of assistance. But yeah, the size of the garment is roughly based on the average size of a child of that age, and typically for such young children, you typically go with either the larger size if they are between 2 sizes, or a size larger then needed, due to how fast they tend to go X3
